ASDB Server Error

Description

The following warning is displayed during simulation and I can not get any signals to be displayed on waveform viewer. What’s wrong?

ASDB: Warning: ASDB server error. ASDB server error.

ASDB: Warning: No more events will be recorded. ASDB file may be damaged.

Solution

In order to eliminate this issue, please try the following:

1. Close Active-HDL

2. Go to your design folder and remove any files with an .asdb and .awc extension (these are waveforms)

3. Start Active-HDL again and run simulation.
