Webinar Overview:
The Python-based cocotb framework is an attractive option for verification engineers who would prefer not to learn a whole new verification language or a heavyweight verification methodology.

This webinar will cover:

  • Principles of cocotb co-simulation
  • A simple cocotb test
  • Rationale for moving to a reusable verification environment
  • Concurrency in cocotb
  • Representing transactions in cocotb
  • Creating constrained random stimulus in Python
  • Implementing verification components in cocotb
  • Communication between components
  • Finishing the simulation
  • An example cocotb class-based simulation

This webinar is run in partnership with Aldec and will feature examples running in Riviera-PRO™ using the free online simulation environment from Doulos EDA Playground.
