Different Ways of Creating Waveforms

Is there a way to create a waveform with a different name using a command other than the "add wave" macro command, possibly with my own waveform file name?

Solution

Please use following command:

write awc -asdb xyz

as a result xyz.asdb and xyz.awc files will be created.
