Standalone Accelerated Waveform Viewer (ASDB)

Description

I have purchased a license for the extra Standalone Accelerated Waveform Viewer (ASDB). Where is the executable for this viewer?

Solution

The wvcore.exe is the stand alone asdb waveform viewer:

Active-HDL Install Directory\BIN\wvcore.exe

If you want to watch a waveform during simulation, you have to start the simulation using asim with -asdb and -asdbrefresh arguments. You can then select the .asdb file in wvcore window ,which will be refreshed during simulation.

asim -asdb -asdbrefresh <sec> <top_level>
